Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Vernon to Victoria
- 7:00 am: Depart from W.L. Seaton Secondary School (2701 41st Ave, Vernon)
- Depart for Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal with washroom and lunch break en route
- 2:00 pm: Meet your guide before checking in for the 3 pm ferry to Swartz Bay
- 3:00 - 4:35 pm: Ferry through the beautiful Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay
- 5:30 pm: Arrive in Victoria and check into your hotel
- Evening free to explore the city’s inner harbor and enjoy dinner at one of Victoria’s many restaurants
- 10:00 pm: Room checks
Day 2: Victoria
- 8:30 am: Breakfast included at the hotel
- Scenic coastal drive through Oak Bay and James Bay
- Stop at Mile 0 and Fisherman’s Wharf
- Walking tour with guide: Inner Harbour, Government Street, Empress Hotel, Legislative Buildings
- Free afternoon for shopping and sightseeing or optional tours (food or whale watching - extra cost)
- 6:30 pm: Group dinner (included)
- 10:00 pm: Room checks
Day 3: Victoria
- 8:30 am: Breakfast included at the hotel
- 9:30 am: Depart for Malahat Skywalk
- 10:15 - 11:30 am: Explore Malahat Skywalk: TreeWalk through forest and spiral ramp to 32m-high lookout with stunning views
- 12:30 pm: Return to Victoria; free time to buy lunch
- Afternoon visit to Royal BC Museum and IMAX movie (admission included)
- Dinner on your own and evening free to explore
- 10:00 pm: Room checks
Day 4: Victoria to Vernon
- 7:00 am: Breakfast included
- 7:45 am: Check out and depart for Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal
- 9:00 - 10:35 am: Ferry through the Gulf Islands (buy lunch onboard, own expense)
- Depart for Vernon. Guide services end here.
- Break stop in Hope for dinner/snacks (own expense)
- 6:00 pm: Approximate arrival in Vernon (subject to traffic, road, and weather conditions)
